Marion Marble and Granite has been in continuous operation, in the same location, for 130 years! Chris Meierhoff is the 6th owner of the business since it's beginnings in 1877, and like his predecessors, is deeply committed to courteous service and quality workmanship.

From the early days when the stone was cut and shaped with a large wooden mallet to the present, quality workmanship is the hallmark of our business. Today, all of the finishing, artwork and lettering is still done in our shop.

The majority of our business is creating monuments for loved ones that have passed away. It is truly an honor for us to create something according to the needs of a family. We aren't in the business of making something because somebody died. We're in the business because somebody lived. We take great pride in our responsibility for creating a lasting memorial for a family's loved ones.

We also create custom stone work. A family name for a greeting stone at the driveway is just one examples of custom work we do.

We can also create custom artwork from pictures of a loved ones life.
